Juice fasts can be done from one day to forty or more days. Fasts longer than two days should be supervised by a professional with knowledge and experience.
In my own experience, I’ve felt more energetic and productive while fasting. The trick is going back to solid food in the correct way. Your supervisor can guide you.

My Juice Fast
As I’m writing this, September 20, 2016, this is the fourth day of my juice fast. Although some buried emotions were surfacing, I was feeling energetic. It was the most productive day in months.
I woke up at 4:30 this morning feeling good. Finally I got up at 5:30 feeling great. I sat down at the computer and did five very productive hours on this web site.
FYI, this is under the supervision of Sandra Gune. She’s a chiropractor with tons of fasting experience.
To top it off, I’m staying at the Nurturing Nest Spa near Palm Springs. So I get to take breaks and soak in the hot mineral water. Or I can swim in the warm mineral water pool. For the most part, I’ve been feeling good and have been wanting to enhance this web site.
There was only one small glitch in the past four days. I was wired the first night after having done a lot of inner work. I wound up sleeping until 11 AM. There were some emotions coming up the second day. Fortunately I was able to handle them using various appropriate tools.

This is day 5. So far so good. Feeling good and productive. Took a short nap in the afternoon yesterday. Did lots of work late yesterday evening. Was feeling good. Made a new friend.
September 22, 2016
This is the morning of Day 6. I woke up this morning with sewer mouth. Doesn’t bother me. I’m in a somewhat isolated environment here at the Nurturing Nest. So hopefully nobody else will come in and keel over.
Yesterday I took a walk in the middle of the day. Walked through a couple of the large spas in the neighborhood. They were like major hotels. But there was no personal warmth.
The energy fluctuated a bit, possibly because of the walk in the heat. Had spurts of productivity. Did some work on my “web site consulting” services part of this web site.
September 23, 2016
Feeling quite good. Decided to break the fast at six days. Overall I’m more energized than before. Sleep better.
The juice fast acted as a kind of transition for me. I’m now starting a new diet that is designed to increase my metabolism. The juice fast helped me switch from a total junk diet to a healthy diet.
